LOL...Jack isn't a bad guy...he is certainly a man of his word, honest and trustworthy. My feeling is building a good relationship over many years with a local dealer and their service dept is key..even if it means spending a few more bucks.(which i didn't) Example, I know for a fact they could have sold my car for more money to another person who was very much interested in the car but they gave it to me..they tried SO hard to put me into a 08 in October for a good price to sell it to the other guy but i refused. I thought they handled my purchase with the utmost sincerity and fairness...very pleased.W/R to mods...i am starting to believe a car like this would head downhill with any mods...what would i do exhaust? No way, the exhaust in the 997 TT is much improved with better sound..Rear spoiler? Nah, the spoiler has resurfaced with the old agrresiveness and boldness. Ever see a car all modded out win at a Concours event? No way because it takes away from the originality of the car...

Word, brother! Sounds like you got a killer deal on a car in inventory, very nice! Agree, nothing but fair deals for me from silverstar, I mean roslyn.
See ya around the hood on 106/107!

doctors-let me tell you, when i was looking for a turbo last august/sept, rosylin insisted on 10 grand over list. they will take as much blood as they can-that is why chris got little to nothing off, because the demand was higher. obviously, when the doc took delivery recently, they wanted to stop paying floorplan on the turbo, hence the better deal.

True, I only got a little off, but I never got the shakedown there either. The highest price that was ever dangled before me was msrp. But I do know they were selling a few at ~5k+ over. I like to think bc I was a repeat customer, loyal to the service dept that I got a decent deal. I got about ~3k off + 'intangibles' back when everbody was paying sticker and I ordered my car to my exact specs and waited a yr. Given the choice of a car in stock for a few more dollars off or ordering exactly what I want, I'm glad I did the latter. But, there are deals to be had anytime the new MY is around the corner, the 997TT is no exception. Bill got a great deal on an awsome car!

I you do decide on an exhaust Billy hook up with me and member SG. The cargraphic exhaust is sick and no resonance at all in th cabin. The sounds is purely intoxicating.

Congrats again.

Does this have the twin pipes in each outlet b/c IMO that looks so much better than the OEM?
