I finished my break-in this weekend. There's a big difference in the smoothness of power delivery. The power is much more available i.e. turning a corner and accelerating. Sport button makes a world of a difference.

I didn't get that many options; basalt black, roof, 18" wheels (for winter), fire extinguisher, wood wheel, stainless plates front and back, adaptive steering.

Power: pretty much what I said before, much smoother, I don't myself trying to play with the Tiptronic all the time.

Handling: I have the adaptive steering on this one vs. my 05. It's a totally different beast in that aspect. At low speeds, the steering is really easy to steer then it stiffens up with speed. I do find the steering is a bit looser though

Suspension/ride: MUCH smoother. And this is comparing my 08 with the springs on it vs. my stock 05

Your Cayenne V6 looks mean, well done!

Where is the fire extinguisher located? Inside a drawer underneath the seat, or mounted at the edge of the seat? Any pictures? Thanks.

Just wondering why you choose a V6? Judging by your fleet it does not appear price or gas mileage are the major considerations...

It's located underneath the seat in a drawer. I'll try to snap one later on

I guess it just came down to value. I want to get another sports car in the year and it just came to how much I wanted to spend on a truck. The 05 was a bit disappointing as far as power went but I'm really pleased with the 08

OZ makes a really strong wheel. I've hit A LOT of potholes (Montreal doesn't exactly have the best roads ) and they've been really good. In any case, you'll be really happy!

What springs did you install? H&R? The same ones for 03-06?
