I've been a lurker on this site, but there are some sick peppers out there!
I picked this Cayenne up a year and a half ago, and the spare tire carrier is pretty rare. There are 2 peppers in WA according to the dealer.
Cannoli: I don't have pics of it open, but it's pretty much an electronic release via a handle on the right. It swings to the left, and won't let you open the hatch until it's fully open. It's synched with the door locks too. There's also a graphic on the dash display if it's not fully locked when going into drive. The option requires programming since the parking sensors have to be re-calibrated. It's a pretty complex option in my opinion.
And it kinda grows on you...

I do like the red. Looks like the paint job was first rate. I'm surprised I haven't seen you driving around - you're pretty hard to miss in that thing.

thanks alex. I was looking to powdercoat the wheels a matte black, with red strips on the outer edge of the wheels. Also thinking about blacked tail lights, and side markers. What do you guys think?

defiantly powder coat them and a red lip it would be sickk. i think it would look nicer if u only tint the white part of the tail lights and get a clear side marker light. and lower it if u can!
