2003 Z06 Orig Owner with over $35000 track inspired upgrades, 18,500 mi FL

I'm selling my baby, a car that I have spent several years trying to upgrade every part to make it the perfect street/track car. Many of you here at CF may know this car from SAFE Motorsports or Chin events at Sebring, PBIR, Homestead. It currently has 18,500 miles. I am the original owner who purchased it new as a leftover 03 model from Spitzer Chevrolet in Ohio in November 2004. It was enclosed transported to South Florida where it has been garaged since day 1 of ownership. The car has never been in an accident and has never had any bodywork or paintwork. There is a small cut in the plastic below the left front duct inlet from a trailer ramp when loading it on my trailer, but that's it. It shines and looks almost new. The large number four on the doors is a removable decal.

Due to increased living expenses (private college) and decreased income, the car has not been on any road course for over 2 years and for 5 months out of the last two years has been used as a daily driver. It has had a total of 5 dragstrip runs but that was before the current drivetrain was installed. Over $35,000 has been spent on parts alone in upgrades, not including labor which is probably equal to that or more. The chassis was set up by Orbit Racing of ALMS fame, and motor tuned my Mike Norris who to my dismay relocated to Indianapolis earlier this year. He can vouch for the car and that I am a fanatic about its care. On last tune it dynoed at 485 rwhp and 475 rwtq according to Mike.

Lou Gigliotti drove my car four laps at Sebring in 2006 and felt it was well balanced back then, and turned 2:24-2:27 laps (even before coilovers and current drivetrain/brake upgrades). That's fast!!!

Current engine has under 6000 miles, brake system 4000 miles, and transmission/clutch setup 2000 miles.

Asking price is $36,000. It is currently on ebay.

It's time for someone else to use this car as it was intended to be used when I painstakingly improved it in every way. List of upgrades:

I am willing to replace the stock brakes and exhaust if the buyer prefers to save some money.

I can transport the vehicle 150 miles if this would help. This car will not disappoint and is very reasonably priced. Please now lowball offers, I'm not desparate. No dealers or solicitors please.
Email all questions to chillimd@comcast.net.

Thanks.
Bill
