Driving without a front lip

Anyone do this as a way to avoid the scraping problem? Or does the front end look funny without a lip?

I've seen a picture of a car without one and it looks really funny.

TYE is infamous around these parts
Driving without a front lip will upset the aero of the car, so not recommended for an extended period of time.

Car in the picture looks like a .1 with a .2 front bumper
