btw...GL w the surgery on YOUR wing.

 

I quite like the last one as well. If nothing else, Im sure the additional ambient air would be beneficial. I'm working on converting to the 997.1 airbox with dual openings, figure this would go well with that.

 

I think the extra air running over the y-pipe might reduce intake temps due to heat soaked post intercooler parts.

That's the only real performance benefit I can think of... otherwise it will look really aggressive either way, which doesn't hurt. :-)

 

Ok i think this is enough interest.

Joe hows about chiming in buddy what do you think about making a Ram Air Style Intake for the 996T ???

Im booked for Major Surgery on Monday buddy hopefully will all happen then still no idea of when ill be out of hospital though.

Totally agree 'flewis' and remember all GT2 models have Ram Air intake ports incorporated into the wing.

I'm pretty sure everyone gets the idea now as with what the intakes might consist of.
