ALPs test as tops in the market against the Dragon. I don't have the link handy for the independent test but it's out there

Are mesh grills still recommended for 991.2 Turbos? If so, does it appear that the Rennin's will fit? It's unclear how they attach the the bumper.

Yes I've been a part of lots of testing against many different versions of firmware.

I was asking about how your particular install tested with only 2 heads.

I have 3 on the front and personally wouldn't trust 2 heads these days.

Excellent combination. My choice as well.

ETA: I knew I knew you from somewhere lol. That driveway looked familiar. You trade the ZR1 for the 911?

*I* remember Nanook from the E63 forum. His name is memorable since the Nanooks were my college mascot.

I also had a C6 Z06 for many years. We all travel in herds. Now the herd is at the Agate Grey TTS watering hole.

Yep front and rear antennas. Have the same on both my 911 and Cayenne. Very pricy but worth every penny.

We've communicated on RDF a while back.

I have the ALP system with three sensors in the front and Rennline front grills. Front sensor placement for maximum protection requires balanced placement and correctly leveled installation. Here is a quick picture for reference. I also have two rear sensors. Getting separation in the rear is more challenging due to limited mounting areas. I have been hit three times and successfully protected. The Android Application logs the hits, the type of Lidar gun and speed at time of hit.

The Rennline grills look very nice, about to order some.

For the ALP system, that is for Laser, but what is everyone using for K or KA instant on. I drive through the mountains a lot and up here the Troopers will be behind a mountain and I can't pick it up until I am right in front of the Trooper. I use a Escort Max 360.

For Radar detection, I use the Beltronics STI-R Plus hidden under the front bumper along with their GPS antenna that allows the device to automatically lock-out known X,K or Ka to eliminate false alerts. It also gives you advance warning of fixed speed cameras and traffic cameras in it's database.

Here is a review link I used:http://www.vortexradar.com/buy-a-radar-detector/

I have Stinger Radar. Best money can buy, but it takes a lot of it.

Breaking news: AL Priority announces their own integrated Radar System with Front and Rear protection: http://www.alpriorityusa.com/Net-Rad...n-Package.html

Features include:

Net-Radar Remote radar receiver with receiver cable (weather-proof). Optional rear antenna available (same hardware as front).

RG Plugin Module 3.0 - interfaces the radar receiver with AL Priority Control Box, and can connect up to 3x Net-Radar antennae

ALP GPS Module - allows GPS lock-out of false alerts, and speed controlled radar mute

Optional Bluetooth Module or HiFi Cset is recommended for enabling voice radar/laser alerts through AL Priority.

I have not seen any reviews yet. Here is a video link showing the device:
