Congrats Uri and Sam! Well deserved guys and Sam i know you are breathing much better now. That mph is pretty awesome and provides a true measure of the power Stage III is putting down.
It was a pleasure to meet you Sam and Uri! Your car was hauling the mail! Can't wait to see it back out there beating up those 9 second slips. I was pretty amazed how well my car did being the first time at the drag strip with it and only having Boostlogic's catless exhaust and a tune with these junk first gen pirrelis. 10.3 not shabby! Can't wait to throw this turbo kit on and get back out there. Cheers!

Thanks everyone and LOL! I can laugh now as I took what happened before really personally. Especially the attempts to discredit myself and my teams hard work let alone our character. I knew we could get a By Design Stage III to do it or at least get super close we just kept focusing on big turbo chargers. Also I never had a local car to put all the extra efforts in and support. Here comes in my dude Uri! like many before him he was ready to jump up to the next level. Then he said let's go do this together in great support and it really was a nice challenge. We had a good time and I really want to thank you buddy. Having a beer and hanging out at the end at the spot too. That's what it's all about! It's like getting a notch on your belt before you go up to the next level for sure.
So again thank you to my new friend Uri and my super kick *** team who always helps me not only with the performance but all the support needed to keep my friends happy and running reliably! Oh and welcome to the 9 Second Club!
This car was under 600 to the wheels for sure so whatever failed really should not have. I've already got things in motion so we can support and take care of whatever we need to. Tires were the new Toyo R888R which has a new asymmetric design and I think it's more of a road course tire. We couldn't get into the 1.4s although the track was extremely well prepped. So I think if we really wanted to we could run even quicker. That's another thing that made a scratch our heads because something week in the driveline gave out during a launch to warm up the tires.
Mike was also there in his 991.2 with full Kline Inconel but she just wouldn't hook up. Eli showed up with his .1 Stage 2. With exhaust and tune only he pulled some 1030s!
Here' some cool pics. Thanks again everyone! Going to hang out with the family today but I'll get a couple videos up later as well on here. Feeling good!

Hey Eli! Cheers man it was nice to finally meet you too. You did awesome and now I know what hardware you are used to. Can't wait to see ALL the cars get tougher and the times to drop and we all hang out!
Sucks about Mike trying to get the launch down. With the .2 launch control at the strip, until you really get the hang of it...

Yeah Todd asked me and I was so busy we missed the IC's in text but full By Design Stage 3 race map. I really think she would do it without meth too. Because it was cold with good DA and we ran high octane. Meth does really help make up when those conditions are not there. Just wasn't enough time to test. The reason I say is because no matter what we did the stock turbo cars just won't make over 590-600 wheel. An upgraded turbo car on the other hand it's quite a difference. We have so many cars like Nanook running 141-144MPH but bad conditions kill ET's.
I have my own kit I put together built around the Snow performance digital control.

Getting in the nines on stock turbos is quite an achievement without nitrous.

I concur. It's bench racing, of course, but with the data we have, one can assume the car certainly has more in it. Our best 60' was a 1.51 because we were changing tire pressure incrementally and therefore not fully hooked up. People have done 1.4?'s which would lead to quite a bit better ET. From personal experience, I'm 100% certain the car would be faster on the east coast. Atco, Englishtown, Rockingham...these tracks are all fast as hell. But we're not there (yet) and we don't have proof. But I may be spending a substantial amount of time on the East Coast next summer and if so, I'm shipping the car over and we're going to see what we can get!
By the way, I've been crazy busy since Saturday and didn't really get to say thanks to Sam for putting this package together for one, but also for jumping right to it and helping me out when the car did break. Without getting into too much detail, he went above and beyond. I'm 100% confident that whatever did happen to the car, we are going to work out a great solution.
We've been talking and once the car is 100% again, we're not entirely sure what route we're going but we're heading back out to keep pushing the envelope and maybe set a record or two.
According to the video this car has meth. Is that correct?
If so it is the equal of the 9 second tune in the 997.2 which I believe also had meth. A big advertisement for getting the meth kit.
Which meth kit does the car have?
Also does the car have the upgraded ByDesign intercoolers? The mod list on YouTube does not mention intercoolers.
Actually the 997.2 doesn't need meth to get into the 9's. Champion did their 9.83 with just basic bolt ons (BMC air filter, werks y pipe, tubi exhaust champion intercoolers and GIAC tune) but needed drag radials. On r888's there have been a few Champion customers doing 10.0's including a vert that did 10.01 but no 9's.
Yeah it needs perfect conditions hence the methanol being a great balancer. Soon I want to see someone do it on street tires and I think it might happen!
