Step One. Open ash tray
Step Two. Remove ash try from slot.
Step Three. Insert iPhone in slot
Step Four. A Nice Tight Fit!

That's a good one.

For those that don't have PASM/Air, the little space next to the on-road/off-road switch can hold the cigarette lighter and that's about it. Maybe two coins, tops.

I considered running the cable under the dash and use it with a support on the ashtray hole, but removing the panel is a major PITA
