I wanted some form of thermal expansion capability. I couldn't source a stainless bellows that would fit so this was the next best choice.

Side note, since I recently replaced my battery no more CEL.

Mine right after I did it.

Since then I have added four mufflers.

Soon I'll be putting anti drones pipes on too.

If you are asking about my set up, I recall around $800 for everything. My spreadsheet is at home but that's pretty close.

This one is 2.5" ID and a combination of aluminized steel and stainless (mufflers and expansion bellow and clamp). I was lucky to have an OEM unit to use as a template. After some initial measurements and sketching out how I wanted to construct the system I drew a 1x scale of the x-pipe:

I am happy to report a beautiful symphony with surprisingly little to no drone! It is amazing, I just love the flat six, gorgeous music at full song. I hope these details provide you motivation to build your own.
Very nice job. Looks great too!

The drone is low to moderate. At 77 mph very low. At 50 moderate. Has a good sound. The resonators are stright through.

It is a little lower than I wanted. It somehow looks realy low in the video. This picture shows it a little better. It's been 7 years a few dings here and there. Knock on wood.
