Wheel colors

So, my wheels are pretty banged up from previous owners and a recent pothole actually bent the lip a bit. I'm going to have them repaired and refinished so I thought what the heck and dipped them in a flat black. I like how they look with the red calipers. I think they make them stand out a bit more than the standard bright finish but don't like the look with the car overall.
Anyone have a black car with a dark grey/silver or gloss black wheel and red calipers? I think that's what I'm going for just to hide the brake dust a bit.
And, yes the car needs a wash

my 2 cents-bright/lighter finish looks better with darker cars.
Maybe you can go 50% lighter than that color?? or you have to go gloss to make them pop.

Dark grey will hide the dust WAY better than a gloss black. The gloss black will show exactly where the dust is sitting in the wheel, whereas dark grey will simply look a little less shiny.

Not a black car but Quantum Silver with graphite 10 spoke Aston wheels. Decent on hiding brake dust.

Nice. Like that look. Calipers still show nicely. Thinking maybe just a touch darker or maybe it's just the lighting in your pic.

Dark grey would help a lot with hiding brake dust - your wheels will just be slightly darker shades of grey depending on how often you wash the car. Different brake pads will help, too, if you want to go that.

If you stayed with black wheels, gloss black would look much better than matte black, I think.
