New to me 2014 panamera 4

If i am getting 22" wheels, do you recommend still installing lowering springs to reduce wheel gap? I have 5 year old twins sitting in the back most of the time so want to avoid any rubbing. Hope someone can confirm that it'll work. 265/30, 315/25

I am wondering what that green thing on my steering wheel at 12 o'clock is for. Is this a e-Hybrid thing? I have never seen it on the regular Panamera's.
