Bad Chariot is infamous around these parts
While I am not in the market for new seats nor do I own a Panamera, as the father of 2 little girls (almost 6 and 3.5), that has to be one of the most impressive set of car seats I have even seen! I will be telling my friends about these.

For those of you with smaller children, I use 2 of the new britax convertible car seats in the back. one is rearfacing, which take sup a bit of room, but still ok for space on the passenger side. theforward facing one fits perfectly. The new britax convertibles has 2 recline positions for forward facing. both seem to work.

I took the OP advice and purchased the Maxi-Cosi Mico car seat. Does anyone feel the need to use car seat protectors underneath their car seats? A colleague of mine uses them in her car. We'll be using a base for the seat that will remain in the car at all times.
Thanks!

I pictured the Clek car seats in my thread not the Maxi-cosi's

I never made any reference that the seats you pictured were the Maxi-Cosi seats. You clearly stated that "Maxi Cosi seats were the best until they got bigger" did you not?

Regardless of the seat, my question was whether anyone had opinions on the necessity of a car seat protector to place under the seats. Thanks!

The seats are heavy and goo just goes down from the seats for many reasons. I definately can recommend having protection if you dont want to risk spoiling the seats. See my post on page 1, last post. I have them in both cars.

Thanks Kip. Unfortunately the product you posted is no longer available. It does makes sense to get something to protect the seats.

Nice call dhh. Wish I had seen these years ago.

I just ordered a couple Olli boosters. Once you remove the back on most boosters, the LATCH strap goes with it and the booster slides around and this has bugged me for some time. Ordered a couple brown covers to get closer to my Luxor Beige and Almond Beige in the wifes car.

Sorry to dig up an old thread...

But it seemed to make more sense than start a new one.

So I'm trading in the 2010S for a 2013 Panamera 4 and will need a car seat for the back (2 year old). I'm a little concerned about the rear side impact airbags. I was looking at the MB and BMW - both do not have rear SIPs because they say it could do more harm than good for a child in a car seat. The Panny is standard. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Thanks!

I have them, pretty sure if something hits the door, the airbag is better than the hit itself. Inspected the space between the door an the seat. I think it has enough space to expand.
