Suspension Measurement

I'm doing an initial set up of my HR Street Coilovers to set the ride height. I've got the fronts at the lowest and the rears at the highest H&R recommended specs. The front looks a little high and rear looks a little low to my eye.

I swapped out Eibach lowering springs which were really low, so I don't have a good reference for what it "should" look like.

I've seen plenty of threads of measuring from center of wheel to fender arch which seems a bit on the fuzzy side. I've also seen mentioned that there is a more accurate way of measuring actual suspension components to determine "ride height."

Can someone describe the suspension geometry measurement?

Thanks!
Chris

Awesome! What page in the manual is that? I skimmed all 2000 pages and somehow missed that.

Not sure what page. i grabbed it from another post and "filed" it away for when i do my H&R sport spring, Bilstein B8 install this month. i have seen alot of comments about the H&R installs being too low or uneven. i am going to "adjust" mine to get it just where i want it. My guess is a 20mm drop from stock and 6-8mm of rake. We shall see when i dig into it.

I’m sure this has been mentioned somewhere in the Forum abyss. But what suspension components are different on the gt2 compared to our TT’s. 118mm compared to 158mm

Per the diagram, the front measurement is 6.22"+/- .4" and the rear is 6.41"+/- .4"

With HR Stree coilovers set 4.25" front, 9.625" rears I have the following result:

L R

F 5.56" 5.75"
R. 5.25" 5.19"

My center of wheel to fender is all over the map.

Is the left to right variance within a reasonable tolerance? Is it prudent to keep the coilovers settings the same left to right?
