You are now the second person whose car I've admired to tell me that they were running H&R springs. I guess that solidifies what I'll be going with. Thanks!

My view, I love the wheels AM has designed, this is what you see on the cars, it's comfort food. It looks "right". Aftermarket wheels could be far superior in quality, but I have yet to see a single wheel I would take over any of my factory favorites, the 5 spoke sport pack DT, the 10 spoke sport pack DT with charcoal back, or the original V12 10 spoke with charcoal.

As you yourself were trying to emulate a factory wheel.

So far, every car shown that have aftermarket wheels and almost all the factory wheels have thin spokes.

When Aston Marin introduced the N24 model it had Speedline(?) wheels that had wide spokes. It was also the first model that had the carbon fiber side skirt. I was probably the first to install those side skirts on a regular production model(mid 2007).

Beefy 5-spokes work for me! I've got a few examples that fall in that category:

Classic 305 (1-piece):

Classic 305 (3-piece):

RS105 (3-piece):

RS105M (1-piece):

If you want the quality of your wheel to match the quality of your Aston Martin then you should consider the HRE Classic 300's or the 940RL as seen below.

IMO-thick 5 or 6 spoke wheels or 3 piece riveted wheels looks good in most racing or track cars. For my taste I want little sporty look but I want the wheels to match the Aston's Elegance.

Funny that this thread started recently as I had one of my customers who purchased from me in 2015 reach out to me yesterday to help with his new 911. He shared these AM photos with me which I had never seen before.

20" HRE P101's in Brushed Dark Clear

Like your car color combo with those wheels. Looks really nice/ What offset & width did you go with?

Any close up photos of your BC forged wheels?

Thanks
