Do you have the stock steering wheel?

Was the radio and climate control face painted? How durable is it? Do the buttons get stuck when you press them?

Yes, I have the stock steering wheel which is like new. No, the radio and climate control face stock non-glass rubber coating and none of the buttons are sticky.

With the wider fenders, will 996TT/997TT wheels fit this car?

In front yes, 996 and 997 wheels feel perfectly. The rear offsets are cayman 987 specific but the new cayman 981.1/2 sizes should also fit no problem.

Does the driver seat go all the way back (with that cage)? Would a 6'2" 230lb driver have any issues fitting well?

The original owner had it custom fab'd and it worked for his height but I found the drivers seat travel was too limited so I removed and sold the roll-bar so it's no longer included.

There are several tried and proven cayman solutions out there there offer more adjustment range.

Yep! That article is the reason that I fell in love with the car. It wasn't until a few years later that it came up for sale from the original owner which makes me the second.

PM's and emails responded. I'm considering changing the wheels unless someone wants it with the the custom AG's.

Bump!

Aaron_DM is infamous around these parts
Bump for a beautiful car.

I daily drove an 07 Cayman S TPC stage 3 with upgraded turbo, lightweight flywheel, PSS9 coilovers for 4 years and never had a single issue with it.
The turbo kits are extremely reliable and well designed, I had over 116k miles on the turbo kit, 123k miles on the car.

The weather is cold and the streets are salty now so I hope that the weather will break in early to mid march. Meanwhile, she sits in a nice garage

Happy to show it in the meanwhile. I'm 40 minutes from O'Hare and Midway.
