All modern cars have undercoating, so your v8v won't rust out.

2012 V12 Vantage. Acquired 12/14 with 8,000 miles on it. Now 25,000 miles. Only non routine maintenance was outside air temp sensor failure. $50 part, changed myself.

2016 Vantage GT, started with 2800 miles. Just came back from Arizona for our 30th anniversary and a 4 days at Bondurant. I now have 8200 miles on it. We also got 22 mpg for a full tank, on cruise control at 80 mph.

That beats my record. Best I ever got was 20.75... when I was driving the car home from buying it in Austin, TX, and I was too scared to actually get on it.

Because I'm a "quantified self" nerd:


I suspect I'll have some new record lows this year, as my plan is to do as many track days as I can. lol
