22" turbo wheels. Took a test drive and it was great. No harsh rides.

So to re open a very old thread.

Can anyone give me an idea on the 22's on the panamera for the ride quality.

Im debating getting these - they are stunning but currently the car has 20's turbo II on them.

I run Victor Equipment 22" wheels and the ride is great. Not too harsh - not too soft. It is stiffer in Sport Plus suspension mode but fine on smooth roads here in south Florida.

Im running 22x10 turbo wheels with 315/25-22 rear and 265/30-22 fronts. Fresh alignment = no issues so far.

Depending on the overall quality of roads in your area or places where you typically travel is what you should really think about in regards to going 20 or 22.

I personally am not a fan of riding on rubber bands, so I went 21" since the bay area is a terrible place to have performance car riding on big wheels and low profile tires. Equals dented, bent or cracked wheels. Regardless if your doing forged 1 piece or 3 pieces. I've experience bent/dented 3 piece wheels and still waiting to get them back from the shop for repairs.

If your roads are as terrible full of potholes, uneven roads, metal plates etc like in SF, 101 and other bay area roads, I'd go stick to 20's to get more meat on the tires.

24" rims

I found pictures of my car from before I owned it. It had 24" Forgiato Wheels on it! Why someone would do that to a PTT I don't understand. It has 20's on it now.

Stuttgart 22's

I have only bent one front wheel slightly after 3 yrs of North East pot holed Rds & highways (which never get repaired). It does not even need repair- still balances out. The Pirelli 265-35-22
bubbled & was replaced under TireRack warranty.

@rds993- car looks great-I have 20” turbos was thinking about getting 22’s...what’s the offset on yours? And what’s the back tire? Not sure if they even make the 22’s anymore like it...

Warranty for tire damaged into pot hole ? Wow ! Here in Europe such damage can be covered only by insurance ...
