As promised, here is the parts list for a COMPREHENSIVE replacement plan for coolant hoses, gaskets and O-rings while the engine is down. I already had some parts which don't show up in this list - things like water pump and gasket, pulleys and tensioner, oil "dipstick", oil pressure sensor etc... The knock sensors are expensive from Porsche but the Bosch oem equivalents can be found waaaaay cheaper. I did get sticker shock when I saw this price list, which is in Canadian dollars. I checked my US sources and for the most part the Canadian prices were in the ballpark. There were some parts I sourced from the US and the rest came from Canada. Not sure everything on the list "needed" to be replaced but I really don't want to come back here. Thought about changing out the camshaft actuators etc but decided to draw the line since I believe at least one was replaced when my camshaft was replaced under warranty.

Add a couple more things:

1.driveshaft guibo (flexdisc). Since the transmission and engine are down it's fairly easy and worthwhile to change. Can be found at RMEuropean and other websites for decent price

2. there are some O-rings behind the metal "faceplate" where the water pump sits. My shop suggested it since it was just a small incremental time cost with the engine out and the engine mount off. Turns out mine were leaking a little bit already so it was worth it.

3. fuel filter
