Thanks guys.
DHinkle's shop, European Auto Garage, is doing some work to it right now (putting gold foil inside the rear bumper). He called me yesterday and said:
"I only have a second, but I took your car to a meeting today in downtown. Jared, of the 20 or so Porsche's that I've had, yours is easily the meanest. It doesn't feel like a 997 GT3. It feels like a 996 GT3 with more power. It's got the 996 GT3s raw personality. I love it."
I thought that was pretty cool.

Jared ,
I have not been on here much lately . I noticed your car is for sale but what happend to the supercharger ? Honestly i think you should consider parting the car out if it has not sold yet .
you should easily be able to sell the car without some of the stuff and sell the parts on here .
If you have the super charger i may be interested .
thanks,paul

Paul:
Good to hear from you. My supercharger has been sold to fellow member justatoy (Stacy). You can see his entire install on here. Just do a search.
There are three reasons that I don't want to part it out.
1- I would think that the right fellow would like it as-is, because it won a shootout in Excellence. It won not because of power, but because of the suspension. As is, the car still has a ton of grunt, as I've done just about all that one can really do for the NA new engine.
2- I don't have all the stock parts.
3- I'd rather keep it than take it apart. It's just too special to me. Driving a stock one back to back shows a HUGE difference in the cars. I just don't want to do that.
Thanks man. I hope all is well with you.

Hey everyone.
Shot a video today on my iPhone for someone and thought I'd share it here. I think it distorted the mic on the phone, so it doesn't sound "just right", but hey, it still sounds pretty good, in my opinion!

Hola. Lame 1st post I know. Just wanted to say that if it was a year from now I would be buying this car from you. Your car is basically identical to what I would do if I were putting together a 997 that wasn't a GT3. I don't suppose you have a wallpaper sized picture of the first picture in your thread? The one by the power grid thingy? I may need it as inspiration when it's finally time to go shopping. Truly an amazing machine you have there; damn shame you're getting rid of it.
