Thank you! The last two hours of the 1,000 mile trip were long and I was tired, but honestly that car is so much fun to drive the hours seemed to melt away. In the last two hours I was on a deserted interstate, so I just made sure everything was "working properly". :-)
If you end up supercharging that 997, keep me iin the loop.

Hey Leo,
Just catching you up on life with the M3. We have had no problems to date. Car has been awesome!
I have a Porsche 993 Twin Turbo and an E60 M5 and I swear this thing pulls harder than either one. Tennessee is an emissions state so I am working on making it legal. I installed a section one pipe from Jack at Performance that has two 200 cell cats (barely legal) and two Magnaflow resonators. This has eliminated the tinny sounding rasp as well as given it a DEEP DEEP throated growl.
I also don't think I have lost any low end, if anything I have gained some under the 5k rpm band. Car is an absolute blast to drive. Hope all is well with you and the new car pursuits!

After nine years of ownership and a complete balanced and blueprinted engine rebuild from top to bottom with a final tune from Epic, we are once again going to enhance this monster. Starting this week, we are converting The Beast from SMG to six speed! Driving this car as an SMG has been fun and the paddles definitely add to the fun, but given all the info out there on Bimmer boards and on 6speedonline about the desirability and drivability of the 6 speed, we have decided to take the plunge! Stay tuned for those interested!
