Is the front & rear struts/shocks same? I need to replace the front pair. Was wondering if it would be possible to switch the springs if the rates are different.

Last time I looked at my struts sitting in the garage, the front and rears were quite different. And if I remember correctly, from when I did my springs swap waaaaaay back then, the bottoms of the front springs were a good bit wider than the rear.

 

Yup different part numbers.
I need the front pair but might jut replace the busted single one till I get a good deal on some coil overs. I don't have enough posts to PM you back. Please PM your e-mail. I will get back to you If I decide to go that route.
