To those who want a race car sound and performance , this is the ticket. It sounds just like the GT3 !
No CATS, straight back to cross-over and out the back in a 3" single tip.
It rumble and gurgles like a true sports car. The sound is awesome !
It just passed smog too . in addition to pictures I have video for PM
Price is $899 OBO

I have never had it throw a CEL. However I have read that any and every after market exhaust can do it due to the decreased back pressure. I researched it and If it were to happen , all you have to do is unplug the battery and then plug it back in. That resets it .
I am not exactly sure what constitute drone. I have been told it was designd to not drone, but my personal opinion it ' it sounds PERFECT except if you are at about 2500rmp and steady on the freeway, it is a little too loun for some'. So I would say it does have some drone, a pleasant one but it is not silent..

I can take any picture you want. Truly it is the sound that sets apart and I can PM some video. The look out the back is very simple. A 3" mandrel bent mild steel exhaust. Nothing shiny or pretty.

I'd like to see some pics off the back of the car as well...have you done before/after dyno pulls on the same dyno, same day?
So you get no check engine light or codes just so that I understand this right...
and if you hava sound clip maybe post it so we can have a listen... thanks bud

Yes, you could add any CAT you like to this system. It passed our smog with ease without them, but I know a few states actually look under the car, so some would need an added CAT. Our state just goes by the computer reading of emissions and this one burns very clean

Is your car flashed?
If not, I'm very surprised you aren't getting the secondary O2 reading CEL codes. This has nothing to do with back pressure, but with secondary (post cat) O2 readings.
Separately, the car sounds the way these cars should have sounded from the factory. IMO, beats the GT3 sound any day.
