That white spot/scratch is not a scuff mark by something, that's the light from the window shining through. The fiberglass is paper thin in that area.

You can also see the top vent slats are not completely straight. Definitely need to be beefed up here too, as I have no doubt they would flex in the wind at speed and crack any paint applied.

Well, mine has markings... but I can't read Chinese, so I still don't know WHO made it, but I know where.

You say yours is well made... How thick is it? Can you post some measurements? Mine has a label with chinese symbols and such right below the top vents. The top edge of mine (like the headlight area, hood area) is about 1/16 of an inch thick.

Did I get a different bumper than everyone else?

Yikes, that is crazy thin. Hate to see what happens to this bumper on a daily driven car.

Could you post a pic of the label with the Chinese writing on it? Maybe someone on the board can translate! Mine has not arrived yet but if it is that thin I may just get rid of it!

OP: Where did you get these? You have to know something about them? If I had known they were paper thin I would have passed!

Certainly.

At this price point, I was planning on having to do some work to them, but I never thought they'd actually be made this thin! Minimum acceptable thickness should be about 50% thicker IMO, I'd prefer it to be double. As it is, if you had a lip spoiler bolted to this thing, and just barely brushed a curb with it, the lip spoiler would crack this thing, rather than bending itself.

I'll need to test fit it first, but I don't think it would be too much trouble to add reinforcement where needed, just a pain.

Did you already paint it or is this just to check fitment first?

Gents, here it is. This would be the good pic. There are figment issues:
Gaps around lights
Gaps on wheel well inner housing
Issues around side marker light
You'll have rather paid more for better fit. Needs tinkering:

Given how thin you said it is -- do you think it will hold up well under real use and the elements (especially sun/heat)?

You going to keep it? Do you have any close ups of how far off all the gaps are?

Also wanted to comment that I think these would look much better if the grill slats were covered in carbon fiber wrap!
