Sold my 02 in January of 07, got very decent money for it, but i got out at the right time. Got about 55% of it's new car value on a 5 year old car. Now i would have to agree that the E46 market especially the later models took a hit with the e92 at dealers as we speak. Not to mention a bum economy too.

they probably meant carbon black. those auctions guys don't have half a clue about cars... to them cars are like cattle. get them in and out of the auction line. details aren't important.

You'll be lucky to get $45k for the car...expect to get something in the low $40k range. There's an 05 M3 Convert with less mileage being offered for less than $43k.

 

A lot of you are missing the fact that this is a Comp Pkg car and are comparing it to whatever cheaper priced car you can find out on the market. The car is not worth $49k, but is worth more than just about any other 06 M3 on the market. We payed about $32k for an 05' comp pkg car with 22k and SMG a month ago at Manheim.
