Up for sale is my Arctic Silver 2001 996 911 Porsche Carrera 2 with 98,000 miles. The car is a narrow body, rear-wheel drive 996 with a black interior. I am the third owner and comes with a clean title in hand, carfax is clean too. This is ultimately is a regrettable sale the car has been great to me and is a pleasure to drive.

I need this sold quick and all reasonable offers will be considered. The car is in the Indianapolis area and I am willing to help with shipping the car. The buyer will get an extra 2 sets of wheels if they choose to want them - turbo twist 18inch - Dunlop Direzas, rears need to be changed, turbo twist 17in with Pirelli Snow tires, rears probably need to be changed.

The car looks great, sound great and drives great. The Ruf front bumper and 18-inch Kinesis wheels sets it apart from the pack. I have a Fister exhaust on the car and it sounds great. I just had a detail done on the car in preparation for the sales, this also included a level 1 paint correction. The paint is not concourse condition, which is expected to be for a car of this age.

The IMS issue - At 50k miles, shortly before my ownership the clutch, RMS seal and IMS flange were replaced, from my understanding this was the solution at the time - the IMS flange was an updated part, I do not believe the bearing was replaced which leads me to believe the bearing was in good shape. I have been observant and personally changed the oil every ~5000 miles. There has been no evidence of metal in the filter, in the oil or the magnetic drain plug when I had one installed. The car has been driven and driven the way it was engineered, I don’t have deep IMS concerns.

I have personally maintained the car as much as possible and feel that I have been detailed in the approach. More recently due to time constraints, she has gone to a local independent shop.
