Selling a brand new intake manifold and Y-pipe from the Cayenne Turbo E81 powerkit. Rennaisance Man has a full write up on this upgrade and how it really changed the attitude of his CTT;

"ECU is still learning... Pulls REALLY hard after 4500 RPMs to redline 7200 RPMs. More instant torque snap and chassis twisting when stepping on the accelerator. On my test drive back home, it chirped second with PSM on when downshifting to mid 4K - wow! Kind of scared me b/c I used to have to push it hard with PSM off to get that kind of response.
My CTT(S) is really turning into a beast now "

Before the Turbo S existed, there was a $20k+ powerkit option in build sheets, dubbed "E81 Powerkit". Essentially this is the intake manifold and Y-pipe from that kit.
These manifolds are no longer in production, this is a RARE item!
This will take your OEM Cayenne Turbo throttle body from 76mm to 84mm.
Comes with the O-ring for the Y-pipe-to-TB, and the clips to snap everything back in place.
Fits the 4.8 liter TT engines; both 957 and 958 Cayenne Turbo.

Questions? Feel free to ask!
Price includes shipping and fees, etc.
Before you ask, doggo is not included, this is for the intake & Y-pipe only!

What’s the difference in the intake manifold design? Longer or shorter runners? Or different actuations?

Takes the TB from 76mm to 84mm, the TB is a little bit longer too (think LS engines with TB spacers). As far as the interior of the manifold & different actuations, I couldn't tell you.

Essentially what Renaissance Man was saying in his writeup is that this upgrade will put you close to Turbo S horsepower numbers, without any other mods.
"From some reason, there are different components to the E81 Powerkit that brings performance up to about 550 hp/tq depending on year model. For example on the 955, you have to swap out the intercoolers as part of the complete kit to get the advertised performance gains. On the 957, there is relatively little needed for the Powerkit retrofit. For the 958, you need to replace the spinning turbine wheels (not the complete turbo) with lighter titanium alloy wheels, along with other parts, as part of the E81 Powerkit package. This presumably decreases lag and may or may not be needed for the hp gain."

I thought that a large hp gain from this upgrade might be lofty, but my tuner actually mentioned that he would need to account for the upgrade in the custom tune he writes, so that he can maximize the benefits of having the bigger TB & manifold setup - and in theory, it would make that kind of additional power. Renaissance Man had this manifold/TB/Y-pipe, full 2.75" exhaust, and a tune and claimed 650+hp range in his 957 CTT. I think he dyno'd 550hp/580+tq, bringing him to around 675hp/700tq before drivetrain losses.

Nope, all others are a 76mm TB. The powerkit intake is the only intake at 84mm, not even the 958 CTTS had them.

Hi there
I know I am very late to the thread, but wondering if this is still available - I have a new to me (almost 1 year now) 2013 CTT and would like to upgrade it to an 82 mm TB, like I did my 07 cayman
