Title: 2003 Porsche 911 Cab 6 Speed - Atlanta GA

$27,500.00

As much as I hate to do it, my recently purchased 996 is up for sale.

2003 Porsche 911 Cab. Silver with black top and interior. 83k. 6 speed. Excellent condition. Key options list:

411 18" Carrera wheel
476 Porsche Stability Management (PSM)
680 BOSE Sound System including AudioPilot (digital)
692 CDC-4 six disc CD autochanger
P74 Headlight pack including cleaning system (Xenon)
X99 Leather interior in natural leather
XLF Sports exhaust system (PSE)
Y06 Gear lever and handbrake lever in aluminum

Known flaws:

1. Paint has peeled on three spots on front bumper. I was going to have repaired prior to sale, but did not want there to be questions about paint work.
2. Two scratches on driver’s side behind door need touch up.
3. Oil seepage on left side of motor. Not enough to make it to the ground, but there is some dampness on the left side of the engine. Was going to have addressed at 90k service. Right side is bone dry.

Extras included:

1. Set of Bridgestone 6 (2 fronts, 4 rears) RE-01R's.
2. Take off factory shocks (not installed, 10 miles when removed - bought from a 6-speeder).
3. Non-smoker center console (installed)

Car drives great. Gets 27 mpg on the highway, 20 mpg combined.

Reason for selling: Following nearly two years of being in the market for a 996, I bought this car on 12/1/08 with the intent of it being my weekend car. On 1/3/09 a relative suffered a medical development which leaves him unable to drive and me with his classic convertible (a 1965 Mustang with a lot of sentimental value). My wife will not give up her M Roadster and since we do not need three convertibles in a household of two drivers, the 911 has to go. Car is located in Buckhead (Atlanta GA) but can be available between Buckhead and Gainesville FL.

Thanks for posting for me Chuck.

I can email high resolution versions of any of the pictures (the six above at the +/- 20 in the photobucket link). Also, for an out of town buyer, I'll deliver the car to and from a PPI provider of choice in the Metro Atlanta area. Atlanta is very easy to get to from pretty much anywhere in America for a "fly in drive home" purchase.

While it is a longshot, there is a universe of potential trades:
E39 M5, E60 550, E55, all cars I can use to carry clients around, sorry but I'm not interested in another convertible as I have one too many right now
I would also consider taking a sport touring bike (FJR1300, Concours 14, VFR) in as partial trade.

Car is sold. It was sold without the extra (new unmounted) tires and the take off shocks which will be put up for sale separately.

Thanks. I have always felt that the key is to price right for the market (I wanted to sell the car, not just have the car for sale), describe it accurately (including flaws as well as strengths) and be creative when it comes time to strike the deal.

there are a few sellers on here that could really benefit from reading what you just wrote.
