1965 Superformance Cobra Roush/Yates 358 677HP pump gas

1965 Superformance Cobra #SP02345
Malachite Green/White Stripes
Roush/Yates 358 (10.67:1 for pump gas)
15" Pin Drive Wheels with Hoosier Vintage TD 26.5x9.5x15 & 27.5x11x15 and 17" Pin Drive Wheels with Kumho V-700 275/40-17 & 335/35-17

Engine:

Roush/Yates 358 built by Nick Ramey. New RDI high nickel block, Sonny Bryant 3.300" stroke crank, Lentz 6.200" rods, CP pistons, Yates C-3 Cup Heads, Comp Cams mechanical roller cam, 10.67:1 compression for pump gas. Billy Boat custom built stainless headers and side pipes. Engine makes 677HP @ 7600 and 513lb-ft @ 5700RPM, will make around 725HP on 112 and timing change. Motor can be revved safely to 9000+RPM, currently has 8000RPM limiter. Engine cost over $60K.

Cooling:

Aluminum Radiator with thermostatically-controlled fan. Engine runs extremely cool even in 85 degree Atlanta Spring.

Drivetrain:

G-Force T-5 5-Speed, Shatter-Proof Bellhousing, Ram Clutch, Dana/BTR 3:46-ratio limited-slip rear end.

Brakes, Suspension, Rolling stock:

4-wheel independent suspension with Bilstein coil-overs, Wilwood 4-piston calipers; original-style pin-drive 15" wheels shod with Hoosier Vintage TD 26.5x9.5x15 & 27.5x11x15 and 17" wheels shod with Kumho V-700 275/40-17 & 335/35-17.

Other features include:

Premium German leather upholstery, Twin Stainless Steel rollbars, Tonneau cover.

This beast must be experienced to be appreciated...it's like being able to go back in time and buy a brand new 1965 automobile enhanced with 677 Raging Nascar Horses, modern racing brakes, and a superior coil over suspension. Brand new condition, less than 2200 miles on the chassis and 500 miles on Roush/Yates 358.

Short video I just threw together so you can hear what she sounds like...very mechanical sounding in the engine compartment...completely normal, it's basically a "decompressioned" Nextel Cup motor.

I'm on Dellwood (between P'tree Battle and Bobby Jones), where are you? Yep, a screaming deal, the motor cost $60K. You need to come check it out, I'm surprised that you haven't heard it when I'm out tearing up the neighborhood

Haha,

My lust and pipe dream hopes must not have come through the text. I drive an RSK04'd B5 S4 - If for whatever reason you feel like driving a 9 year old, 500HP 4 door sedan (or giving to charity), let me know. I'm local

Beautiful car - absolutely beautiful
