FS: 2009 G8 GXP Liquid Red M6 LS3

Make: Pontiac
Model: G8
Price: $30500
Mileage: 43050
Color: Red
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing

Hi everyone, the time has come to see about parting with the G8. It's been a great car but I'm looking at diverging my fast/practical car needs into two separate cars.

Some highlights of my car:
  • 6.2 Liter LS3 V8 - Stock 4th gen LS engine, same engine in base C6 Corvette, has never seen FI/NOS, never opened, regular Mobil 1 oil changes
  • Manual TR-6060 6 speed transmission (stock) - 1 of less than 900 G8 GXPs imported as manuals (and only ~1830 GXPs imported total)
  • 43,0xx miles - going up slowly as it's my DD (but I don't commute)
  • Solo Mach Shorty Balanced catback exhaust (J-pipes, no resonance/drone)
  • Solo Hi-flow Cats installed (also have original cats)
  • Rotofab intake (also have original airbox)
  • Dyno Tuned by MAC Autosport in Parker, CO
  • Camaro 20" Wheels with General G-Max rubber (245/35/20 in front, 275/30/20 in the rear)
  • DBA 4000 series slotted/drilled rotors front & rear
  • Hawk HPS pads on all 4 corners

I'm the original owner, bought it new from Mike Shaw Pontiac/Buick/GMC in Colorado Springs, CO at the end of September 2009. It was the last manual GXP left in the state. Never in an accident, should be a clean Carfax.

It's been a great car and needs nothing mechanically except a new set of rear tires sometime this year. There's a few minor cosmetic blemishes, including a couple parking lot door dings on the right rear passenger door, as well as a minor scuff on the rear bumper from someone rolling into me at some point. Neither are very noticeable and I'm happy to take pics. As it's a CO car there are also a few minor paint chips missing on the front fascia, but that's to be expected. It does have a clear bra on the leading edge of the hood.

Performance: It's great. On the dyno, it proved to be just below 400whp - see dyno chart below:

Never had GM say a word about any of the mods, drivetrain warranty should extend until 100k or September of 2014.

Car has also been a blast at Bandimere over the years. Have done Club Clash for 2 of the 3 seasons I have owned it but have never abused it - no forced induction, no NOS, etc.

Below are a few videos I suspect you will enjoy:

Do remember that in the video above we're racing at 5800 ft. above sea level (almost 18% HP loss from sea level), with almost 7800 ft. density altitude, and that the -V is decently modded. The G8 would be well into the 12s at sea level.

Asking price is $30,500 or best offer. PM me if you're interested and let's see what we can work out. Thanks for looking!
