The car sold locally today...I was pretty surprised but first person to look at it, took it home.

We are selling our 06 VW Jetta. The car is blue metallic with tan leather interior and is pretty loaded. This jetta was made before VW decontented the cars, and most importantly comes with the fantastic Audi 2.0 turbo engine which is one of the most highly regarded four cylinder engines made. In addition, it has the DSG dual clutch transmission which means faster shifting, better performance and better fuel economy than a traditional automatic transmission. The car is fun to drive, pretty quick and handles beautifully. Great DD, kids car, etc.

In addition to the drivetrain the car has a bunch of great features:

The bad: passenger side wheels are scratched up, and the factory painted rear spoiler paint is peeling (we have complained to VW). Otherwise just the normal little cosmetic things every car picks up. Generally the interior looks very good.

The car has 76k miles on it and was just in for service in July. Our son is in college now and the car just isn't getting used very much now. Clean title. Located in the SF Bay area. Asking $9900.
