I have owned this car since it had 11k miles on it, and I can profess that is is literally a 9.9 out of 10 when you see it. I have taken excellent care of it, I bought it CPO'd from BMW and it never has been to the shop for any repairs, the SMG works great and the engine has been getting oil analysis done on it with zero issues.
I have tastefully modded the car while trying to keep it stock looking.
Mods
Custom Clear Bra on the front of the car along with door edges, rocker panels and rear trunk area.
Lowtec front springs to lower the front end only 20mm, the rear is already pretty low on the M5.
Racing Dynamic Sway bars front and rear (great mod with incredible improvement in handling)
Evolve Headers, the single best mod on this car add's close to 50 whp with a tune.
Eurocharged Header Tune - no CE's and never had an issue with this car, 500 hp without the M button being pushed.
RPI underdrive pulley, RPI intake scoope
LCI tailights with Bruce cables - Updated LCI tailights with LED's.
Eisenmann Style Rear Exhaust
All orginal equipment still exists.
Factory Options
Extended Leather - Alcantara head liner, leather dash, doors, trim.
HUD
Active Seats - Heated, Cooled, perforated ultra soft leather
Factory IPOD adapter
Split Fold Down Seats
Winter Package
$102k Sticker
This is perhaps one of the fastest NA M5's out there, I had the chance to do a session at Road America last year and the car went 170mph on the straightaway and was able to run with a Porsche 997 TT. It is very civil with no loud exhaust or super stiff supension. Maintains the stock character while being incredibly fast.
All maintenance is up to date, I recently changed all fluids in the car including transmission, rear dif, engine oil, brake fluid (ATE 660). I use all OEM fluids in the car with the exception of the brake fluid.
Tires are over 90% front and rear Conti DW's.
This has been THE most reliable car I have ever owned, in three years of ownership the only thing I have replaced was the battery and a new sway bar link. No paintwork, incredible color and combination.
I am looking to move to a Porsche and would be interested in a trade plus money, in order of choice it would be 997 TT, 997 C4s, 997 C2, or 996 TT.
If your looking for the best of breed NA M5, this is it. This car has been a garage queen, and has never been driven in bad weather. I also have a matching car cover from BMW for it.
