I am selling a 2 owner, 82,981 mile 2000 Carbon Black e39 BMW M5. 05SS Silverstone/ Black Nappa extended leather, Sport titanium interior trim, rear sunshades, rear park distance control, hella auto leveling euro facelift headlamps, Dinan exhaust. I have all the (4) original keys, books, mats, and clean title in hand. No accidents. Car was originally Canadian but was imported and dealer switched gauges to MPH. Car was purchased from BMW of Fife in 2010 at 52k and serviced by Signature BMW since. Never abused or driven hard. Just a close look and short drive reveals the stunning cosmetic and mechanical condition of car, along with inspection I am offering with sale. This car is immaculate. Even drivers seat is beautiful. Car was built (leap year) 2/29/00. I had the car inspected Monday 9/21/15 by Strictly BMW here in Bellevue and that's offered with the sale. The car has brand new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's all season tires. Car was professionally detailed by Park Place here in Bellevue. It's a real stunning example of a first year e39 M5. No fault code history and Motor pulls like new, trans is solid, notchy, and extremely tight for a Getrag unit. Has e60 short shift kit. Clutch not warped and grabs perfectly. Drivetrain cannot be faulted. Suspension amazingly tight. Cooling system perfect. Even the belly pan, pork chops, and front bumper have no scratches underneath. Not even rock chips on front of car. The closer you look the more impressive the car is.

The car is having a full detail/ polish which will be done at end of day today. I also had the clear bra removed because it was less than perfect, but the front bumper clear bra was left as well as the door edge guards because their still perfect. Here is a couple photos.

 

More pictures after detail. Clear bra was removed but that means no rock chips. Funny to say but the interior is nicer than the exterior, if that's possible. Mechanical matches the paint and interior quality too. Again won't last for any price.

 

I've seen this car in person and know the seller. Really nice original M5 and honest seller.

Also I wanted to mention that there are ENDLESS amounts of cars out there with hidden type issues and pretty good paint work done. I really want to be clear that this car has 100% original factory paint with ZERO rust, dings, damage, or paint work. Also I have the inspection sheet in hand. Strictly BMW is a top tier BMW indy and they said the only thing they found mechanically was one of the Park Distance Control Sensors was not working and one ball joint was slightly loose. Otherwise they reported minor seepage around upper oil pan, rear diff, and pass. side valve cover gasket. They did say that "seepage" does not mean leaking, and they would NOT suggest changing any of those seals as a little oil residue after 83k miles and some times of sitting is normal and not worth changing. I have the inspection sheet, and buyer can take for another inspection OR call Strictly as not to waste time or money on another inspection (since I just had this done for buyer). This is a FANTASTICALLY favorable inspection for an e39 M5 @ 16 years old. When I looked to purchase an M5 most of the ones had horrid bad PPI's. This car looks, drives, and inspects out like a few year old 30k mile car. Seeing the car is the only way to understand what I mean here.

$22,500 and this car will appreciate if condition and low mileage is maintained.

The wheels will need refinishing, but a brand new set can be had from Huskers Parts for $2,000. If it were me I would buy a new set in 9.5" all around, run a 275/35/18 all around, have this chrome set powdercoated ($500) and then run a winter set on them.
None of the current wheels are bent, they are just pitting, as the chrome is 14 years old. They are 100% functional, I dont like Plastidip as its imperfect and temporary, but thats another viable option.

The optional titanium sport Interior trim vs. normally the wood is super rare, and the interior condition is 9.5/10. When I had detail performed it was exterior only, as the interior was in no need of detail. All the interior pics are without detail. Its that clean inside. Sorry for the lack of information but with the move my desktop computer was inaccessible and its not easy doing all this from mobile app.
