Do you have a radar detector /laser detector and jammer installed? I saw a pamphlet for it at my dealer a few years ago.
Do they work good? Is it a seamless install or is it obvious?

Absolutely. It's a must. Yes they work but only if you get the right ones. ALP is the only way to go for laser right now. A good install will not be completely invisible but I've only ever had one person notice mine and comment on it.
There are lots of good radar detectors these days. Which one is right for you depends on your budget and needs. Stinger with 2 antennas is great and I love mine. But very pricey. ALP has a radar antenna add on to the laser jammers called Net Radar that's a good value.

Mine came with a built in 9500ci which is nicely integrated into the smoking package and just above the steering wheel. My wife hates it because of the noise, but guess who just got a speeding ticket two weeks ago, hint, not me.........

Go with the ALP but skip the Net Radar. It's not ready for primetime and the manufacturer support is lacking. They typically ignore my emails and questions, and there are several issues with the implementation which the manufacturer just doesn't get.
ALP is a solid product. For radar stick to Escort/Bel, or Stinger if you want to go all out.

I have a guy that comes to my garage and will install 2 front ALP heads and the BEL StiR radar unit for something like $2250. He has done a bunch of installs for me because we are getting a new car every 9 months it seems. He charged a bit more for my McLaren because I wanted 3 heads in front. Did a two head front ALP and Net Radar on my wife's Tesla Model X. Charged a bit more than the $2400 because the Net radar has a front and rear radar unit.
Not a believer in rear laser diffusers. Hard to place the shifters effectively and rear laser targets are extremely rare.

But as far as effective placement, a good install with 2 heads in the license plate area will jam 99% of guns.
