This 1988 Suzuki Alto Works RS-R shows just 27k kilometers (~17k miles) and was imported to the US from Japan in December 2016. The 547cc three-cylinder turbo engine sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. This was the first kei car that hit the maximum allowed hp for a kei car and was the fastest one of its time. The tachometer has a 9,500 rpm redline.


The car benefits from new tires, battery, fuel pump, and fuel filter, and it is thought to remain unmodified apart from an aftermarket steering wheel and speakers. This JDM kei car is now being offered for sale with its original manuals, service records, and a clean Texas title.

The car has never been in any accidents. Factory decals are absent, and the rear wing repainted to match the bumpers and sideskirts. New All-Season tires were fitted on the 13” four-lug wheels.

Front seats are trimmed in a two-tone purple and grey striped fabric, while the rear seats and door panels maintain a darker grey two-tone shade. Some wear and wrinkling of the upholstery is noted on the driver’s seat. An aftermarket steering wheel and door panel speakers were added.


The 547cc inline-three sends power to all four wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. Very Light surface rust is noted underneath. This is becoming very rare and hard to come by in this condition. A walk-around video can be seen below.
