997S.1 Suspension Mods - Questions
What suspension add-ons are recommended for an aggressively lowered car? I'm concerned amongst other things with extreme inner tire wear on the rears which are relatively new.
I've been looking at Agency Power's Rear Adjustable Toe-Links and Front Adjustable Sway Bar Links. I was previously running H&R Lowering Springs and they worked well with PASM, but I switched to BC Racing Coil Overs (lost PASM - no biggie), but at my ride height I'm hearing a little noise/rattle up front. This was almost from the get-go on the install.
The independent Porsche shop in San Antonio days before relocating to OKC did the install and although I requested the ride height at zero gap, this is a bit more aggressive and I'll likely raise it ~ .05". Having stated this I'll get another alignment but before hand I'd like to get any other recommended parts.
It's been aligned albeit to the maximum.

Wow, that is low !
Did you install monoball top mounts with the new coilovers? If so, they eliminate the rubber bushings and can make some noise over bumps. On my car, I went with the Bilstein Damptronics so I could keep PASM and added TPC's DSC box. I also did the full RSS Stage 2 kit - Tarett Monoball top mounts, RSS Rear Dog Bones, RSS Toe Steer Kit, RSS Camber Locking plates, RSS adjustable sway bars & drop links, and RSS Lower Control Arms at all 4 corners. Added a cargaphic AirLift noselift sytem at the same time to prevent scraping the RUF front bumper with the lowered ride height since it's not only lower, but protrudes further forward, and doesn't have a replaceable bottom lip spoiler.
This setup is phenomenal as it allows me to dial in the suspension to a full on track car if desired and still be able to have a very comfortable high-speed long distance cruiser that tightens up based on g-forces, even when in comfort mode - essentially a no-compromise setup and the handling is razor sharp.
I would do as much as you can and add to it as you go. With a lower ride height, you likely need to go with adjustable sway bars and drop links at a minimum in order to eliminate preload on the suspension.

Thank you for the great information. Nothing was replaced other than the coil overs. I’ll check out RSS. Much appreciated!

Mike Schalke at RSS is great. Give him a call - he knows what he's doing and will take care of you.

I called RSS and spoke with Mike - great guy and explained all the parts - I’m going to get their Stage 1 kit which includes the dog bones, front bump steer kit, rear toe bump steer kit and the locking plate kit. Thanks again!
