The 2014 Audi R8 V10 marked the beginning of the Gen 1 model update which included the new Plus model and the highly anticipated upgrade to a new seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The Plus model includes revised GT style springs/dampers and carbon-ceramic brakes which is a huge weight savings. Carbon fiber parts are located everywhere on this Plus model which include the front splitter, rear diffuser, side blades, side mirrors, interior accents, and engine compartment. Other ’14 model update changes include front and rear LED lights, a revised grille design, and round exhaust tips. The car has 35% tint on the glass and a brand new set of Toyo R888s to help keep this beast planted to the asphalt.
The R8 stays parked in a climate controlled garage most of the time and was driven on the weekends. I have put a lot of time and dedication into this car, but have decided it was time for me to move on to a new project like I normally do every 2 years.

was the boost increased after the 167mph 1/2 mile pass?

Since then I raised the boost 1 psi from 8 to 9 which is where it is currently set at, but I have not been back to another 1/2 mile race.
