Running 110 leaded race gas in 2008 997 Turbo
Can i run 110 Leaded Race gas in my 2008 turbo with aftermarket headers full race exhaust , tune and every bolt on they make for this car?

you can run race gas all you want. i tried 110 leaded at the track once because it was cheaper than 100 unleaded just to see what happens and i dont like to do track events on pump and didnt notice a difference.. really unless your tune can take advantage of the 110 or you can get tuned for 110, I'd run 100. I've not ran anything below 100 oct for months.

You will do irreversible damage to your cats and O2 sensors. They may not die right away but it will definitely shorter their life. The lead in the gas poisons the catalytic reaction responsible for O2 sensor and catalytic functions. Once is is there it never goes away. It is good for valve seats though.

Even with no cats itll destroy your o2 sensors. What are you trying to achieve? There are a lot of high octane unleaded race fuels that wont cause these problems. You'll have to have the car retuned to take advantage of the octane anyways.

we used to do a "trick" of pulling the primary O2s out every couple of tanks of leaded fuel and run over them with a lighter for a few mins to "clean" the O2s. dyno shop owner/tuner suggested it to us- he said he had to do it for the wideband sensor that he used on his dyno to get AFR readings every so often after cars tuned with leaded gas to keep it from fouling out. not sure if it really helps but i have ran hundreds of gallons of leaded fuel in past car and never fouled out an O2. could be just lucky?
but again, unless you are tuned for 110, you don't need it.
