Which Tuning for a 997 Turbo?

Iam searching for a tune for a 997 Turbo.

At the moment the car probably has a tune, but a quite bad one.

Can anybody tell me what tuner makes a good and cheap software and if it is possible to flash it via obd - as some say they cannot guarentee it because of the old tune?

You will get 10 different answers. Most tuners on here have a good reputation.

A lot of us use the Cobb AccessPort. Multiple tuners use it so you can actually shop around for tunes if you don't like what you have or want to try another tuner.

Probably most will agree you can try talking to Sam @ByDesign as he usually has the best price and service. Sam also tuned my car as documented in my build thread.

You have a lot of great options on the 997 Good luck

DriverSource has a spectacular aura aboutDriverSource has a spectacular aura aboutDriverSource has a spectacular aura about
Todd Knighton at Protomotive. His drivability, power, and safety is the best on a stock ECU out of any we have used. Not a knock against anyone else because there are a lot of good tuners out there, Todd has just always been 100% on point for us.

My advise is simple , if you want to stay with stage 1 or 2 there are many many many tuners offer great
tunes and customer service , but if you want to go more than that .. go for a tuner that will help you reaching your goals !!! Esmotor , Protomotive , bbi , sam Bydesgne , evoms , softronic , mitch@cobb , 911tuning .. all of them are good

My vote will be to ESMotor as I ran their tunes since 5 yeas in my area with very very big success 500-1200hp !!
Also to add , the support that you will get Any time you ask .. Emre will answer you !!

I am very happy with the stage 1 Markski tune. Really woke up my car, and no other mods needed.

cobb allows custom tunes/maps by anyone who can do them. Esmotor can do custom tunes and put them on your Cobb.

so technically, it's both. You gotta get both for stock ecu.

But when I see the map format to be put in the accessport , it is encrypted, so how I think only few tuners approved by Cobb can put their maps.
