My 991s warranty expired next Tuesday, I spoke with my local dealership they offer me the attached pricing for Fidelity Platinum Coverage.

This is my first time purchasing aftermarket warranty for my car.

Can anyone with experience with Fidelity warranty purchase, give me some insights?

Pros and Cons, so far how do you like it? The prices they offer me reasonable?

3/36,000miles $2678 w/ $250 Deductible
6/60,000miles $4219 w/ $250 Deductible

I like the 7/70 for my purposes. There was a thread on this over on rennlist where they identified some cheaper places to get fidelity, you will have to search. It does not matter where you buy it from, it works at your dealer. Normally dealers mark these things up around 100%. I had fidelity on a truck but never needed it.

 

How many miles do you have and do you expect to keep the car for the warranty term. What ever you pay you can expect that warranty company will be making money and it might be better to put that money in a savings account for future problems. But since the 997.2 there are very few major problems with these cars like the 997.1, 996 and 993.

 

I got the Fidelity 7/70 I believe for my 12Kmile 14' CPO S.

My previous was Zurich which was pretty good and covered almost every issue that came up with my previous problematic Panamera.

 

Out of curiosity... is the warranty purchasable if my car is 2010 / 18700 miles ?

 

I believe there are a certain year and mileage but you can check with the dealer that's selling the fidelity insurance.

 

If you had Zurich and were happy with them covering almost everything, why did you not stick with them and wind up going with Fidelity?

 

Just purchased a Fidelity Platinum warranty and the quotes prices are elevated compared to what I just paid in early April. Feel free to PM me and I can give you specifics.

My car currently have 25,000 miles I planned to keep it forever, well that is the goal at least But good points you brought up.

 

I see, do the price listed above comparable to what you paid for the 7/70?

Cause I bought the 911 at different dealership and Fidelity is what they were selling and heard good things about Fidelity so I bit.

 

If possible call Troy before warranty runs out next tuesday. I just put a 7/70 on my 14 TT with 19k on it for $4403.

Save your money and self insure. I doubt you will spent $4,000+ in repairs over the next several years.
