hot brakes
I know this has been covered a million times, but this thread would have helped me, so I'm writing it.
I upgraded to 997 rotors and bought some drilled rotors. Have PFC pads. My rotors are cracked and toasted after 4 days at Watkins Glen, and a few hundred miles on the street.
This time around I am buying slotted rotors and the gt3 front ducts (for $11) to try and keep them a bit cooler.
The rears look brand new still interestingly enough...

while you can try many options and some will work . I run the glen all the time with no brake issues.
Get the cooling ducts from sunocast if there still available. Also call the guys at at www.racingbrake.com. the pads and rotors are the issue.
