anyone using a wide anlge side mirror?

The blind spots on this car are scary, I have (came with the car) small wide angle mirrors stuck on the original mirrors, but they are pretty small and almost worthless at night.

what really drove this home was on the highway the other day I could hear a motorcycle (thankfully he had loud pipes) and I could not see him at all.

Was looking at getting one of those replacement mirror glass in wide angle.

Was just seeing if anyone had any experience with the wide angle mirrors.

Talk about blind spots, have you driven the new Vette? Way worse than the Panamera and no blind spot monitoring. I just check and recheck

they've made cars look a lot better, but they've forgotten to make it so you can see out of them.

I'm on a Lexus forum and several people there praised their blind spot monitoring option. It wasn't offered when I bought mine, but I thought I wasn't really missing anything. However, we got it on my wife's car and it is really helpful.

The visibility problem I have with the Panamera is the view to the right side of the vehicle. Near our house there are two intersections where you approach a stop sign and you are entering the main street at an angle. The car is facing slightly to the left so when looking to the right and slightly back, the high headrest and the B pillar block out a great deal of your view. And if I'm driving, my wife's head adds to that blind spot. I have to lean forward and back to make sure no cars are coming from the right side.

I have had several close calls from not seeing other cars so I've ordered the Porsche aspheric (blind spot) mirror based on a friend's recommendation - I'll report back after installation w/ initial impressions.

I've been scouring eBay for the right type (heated and auto-dimming) and finally bit the bullet and ordered from Suncoast for a not insignificant $329 - details:

Panamera Aspheric Mirror SKU970ASP1 $329.95
