He told me he had thought Aston’s were slow
Had some fun when a McLaren came up from behind. Afterwards he looked at me dumbfounded saying everything he had read said Aston’s were slow.

"Slow" is a relative term, I guess.
Compared to most cars, ours are certainly not slow.
But in an environment where variables are as controlled as they can be (example, on track with drivers of similar ability), our Astons are indeed slow compared to pretty much any McLaren. Or, for that matter, most other marques of similar stature/price range, and a lot of cheaper marques, too.
Looks like you were having some fun in the vid. I don't think he was having as much as you. His corner speeds, including corner exit, suggest someone a lot more timid than you, or perhaps not familiar with the road. I don't know what mods you have, but even if you are supercharged to 100-150 hp over stock, he should be able to out corner and definitely out accelerate you.
Reminds me of when I had my V8V and the first Nissan GTR's came out. At a trackday, I could not believe how well I fared against one, and this was on the horrible OEM RE050 rubber. My conclusion was that the GTR driver had to be taking it easy, because those cars were/are in a different performance league than an OEM V8V.

Car lights up traction now coming out of turns and will set off traction control in a straight line if I get on it in second. Not bad for a lil 4.3 naturally aspirated. Oh, the best part is the **** eating grin I had the entire drive and when I got home. It amazing to me that a car I have owned for a decade can still make me feel special, giddy, and like a kid again. I will never sell her!
Its the BlackVue with mic by rear view mirror. Rear video sucks as the window writing is right in front of it. From the front it's incredible. Great camera!
