trailer for 996tt

I am considering a open aluminum trailer. I've seen many here recommend trailex. I've seen pictures of gt3's on the 7541. However its only 75" wide. I believe our cars are 72". 3" Is pretty tight. Should I even bother looking for a used 7541, or is 8045 the only way to go...?

Thanks!

Lots of threads on trailers- I rented 20’ enclosed a few times and bought a 24’ enclosed. Dual axel and fits-secures all of my extras. Most will say once you go enclosed it will be hard to go open. Bigger better...

I keep looking at all the threads. No one has really posted that has a 996turbo and the trailex 7541. The car is 3" smaller than the trailer. Seems too tight. I'm looking for someone who has used this setup and can tell me how they loaded it up reliably without hitting anything? Winch every time?

I'm currently looking for a trailer as well, something i can use for my turbo, '63 impala, and '55 suburban. Currently i've been looking at Futura Trailers.

Curious, what are you towing with?

don't laugh at me, but I have a tesla X that I think can do the job getting the 80 miles to watkins glen and back. There is a charger at the track I have confirmed that I can use, so I should be all set. In the future, I see a Cayenne diesel replacing my S5 daily driver...
