There were only ~2100 987.2 cars sold in North America from 2009-2012. Notables are 9A1 engine devoid of oil starvation and IMS issues, southern car (FL, TN, TX), CPO up until 2015. Recently added HRE wheels with MPS4S (about 10k highway miles). Soul Performance valved exhaust system with catted headers. The exhaust is the best I've heard on a Cayman. It is intoxicating when you want it to be and quiet when you want to listen to your podcasts or when you want to be a friendly neighbor. I have programmed the garage door buttons for quick valve open and closure, a key fob is also available to control the valves.

The brake system has been refreshed. A GT3 Master cylinder was installed for better brake feel, GT3 brake ducts for better cooling. New Goodrich brake lines, Castroil SRF brake fluid, rotors/pads were all replaced. Some tasteful and expensive interior upgrades such as the Sport Design PDK steering wheel, Carrara white console (no plastic coating to wear off) and leather radio surrounds to make the cabin a nicer place. The exterior is Cayman R inspired, tastefully with black mirrors/vents, headlight surrounds and side stripes, and 981 style LED tail lights.The car has been very well taken car of it's entire life. I have maintained it at a Porsche specialist, TPWS in Austin, for the duration of my ownership. I recently did a few thousand in service to put in a new A/C compressor and brakes.

All maintenance items up to mileage and some performed in advance such as a new PDK filter and oil. Clean Carfax. No accidents. The only paintwork was the OEM front bumper (performed by the previous owner to fill in front bumper holes). There are a few small scratches on the front bumper from inconsiderate parallel parkers, only visible up close. There is some wear to the bottom of the small lip spoilers. There is a small chip on the XM radio cover and some scratches on the bottom of the rear diffuser portion. The exterior paint is in good condition overall and presents very well.

I was planning on continuing to daily drive the car and participating in a few hpde events. Unfortunately, my commute will be increasing significantly and I may be looking for a more "practical" car since wifey wants a Miata. There are no outstanding issues or maintenance known to me. The car is totally sorted mechanically and will need nothing. I have both sets of keys, as well as a fair amount of maintenance records from myself, the previous owner, and a few from the first owner. Texas title is clear, in my name with a small bank lein which can be taken care of. I will continue to daily drive the car, so miles will increase slightly. I am located 15 min from the AUS airport, ready for the next owner to pick up or I will work with the buyer to arrange shipping at their cost.

There are not many 987.2 S available, the ones available are in varying conditions and much fewer with full service/ownership documentation. I realize it's on the higher end, but you get the peace of mind for an excellent, sorted car with high dollar upgrades. PPI welcome at your cost.
