Any ideas to help me with front strut mount noise?

These are Tarett monoballs (sphericals) on top of Ohlin struts..........and we get a clicking-chatter from the mounts even when rolling the car at .5 MPH across the smooth shop floor.
You may ask.....how is it that we think the noise is coming from the mounts?......well, we have a helpful volunteer hop in the trunk and we roll em around the shop. Putting an ear to the mount area seems to be the ticket.

The Taretts are not that old......the problem existed when they were new. I'm not going back to OE mounts and would really like to find a solution to this pesky problem....cause it's driving me NUTS .

Anyone else w/bad experience w/Taretts?.....or with good experience w/other solid mounts?
Ideas welcome and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had Tarett`s too - always some kind of trouble with them. Switched to Elephant Racing - Everything has been peachy ever since - and much more adjustability.

Running Elephant strut mounts as well, no problems at all.

Yes - Elephant Camber plates.I talked to Tarett when I first bought their camber plates because there was play where there shouldn't be. They agreed there was an issue that would be fixed soon. I fixed it myself by modding their product. They never contacted me once the fix was implemented - if it ever was. They never were 100%.

Just circling back on this.....my "clicking-clatter" is gone and we ended up moving over to Elephant mounts as well as rebuilds on the Ohlin struts as Ohlin found excessive play in the strut housing bushings.
I wish I had pics of the previous top-side view of the previous Tarett mounts however here is a view after Elephants have gone in.
What am I seeing different?
Comments were made that the secureness of the mount for the Elephants was questionable. We marked all 4 points so it would be easy to see any movement after a track weekend.

I had promised to circling back on this.

Unfortunately after only about 2 hours on the track all three nuts and bolt-heads had moved.
Pretty sure my camber and probably even my tow is off from what I'd prescribed.
Gotta be doing something wrong here.
None of these three points are really secure.....torquing those nuts further just pushes the metal down.....does not anchor their position.

Car is back in at my shop.....Kelly Moss Motorsports....trying to get ready for Labor Day weekend TRAC at RA.
We'll figure out something....not sure what at this point.

The only AWD camber plates that I would use on these cars that actually work without issues are JRZ. Good luck gettin it sorted. Gotta love the aftermarket....
