More tail light stuff, Help

Can you see the distortion?
So I noticed some interesting light dispersion a couple weeks ago and it looks like both lights have it. Tell me if you can see it in the pics

Yes. Looks like UV light has taken it's toll on the plastic. Only thing I can think of is applying a film with UV protection capabilities.

CPO may consider this a non-manufacturer defect - but worth a try.

Did high humidity fog it up inside the lens? The seal may have been violated or both lenses have gotten brittle and cracked? Mine still seem OK after 10 years.

Not sure, this car was a lease in south Florida. Both lenses look that way and its more noticeable in the sun. They are the OEM lenses not sure why they would not qualify for CPO

The same on mine, especially on clear part.
The Pannys which were not been driven full speed don't have this issue

My turbo was a CA car new and now a S.FL car - zero issues. It does stay garaged but maybe the plastic is more prone to UV damage than other materials? Could be the same reaction that happens to plastic headlights in the sun.

Not that I'm aware of and I've been around LOTS of Panameras in sunny areas. Now headlights..... we all know the effects of UV/sun on those.

I have a 2011 4S and it's been garaged when not in use for at least the last 4.5 years that I have owned the car. My tail lights really bug me because they have these small spider cracks all through the lenses on both sides, it's not obvious unless you look closely at them but it's there non the less. I'm pretty sure it's a combination of age and UV damage over the 8+ years that it's been in service. I'd replace them but they are quite expensive new and used ones would probably have similar issues. I don't have any issues with the headlight lens though.
