Overview
I am looking to sell because I want to upgrade to a C7 Z06. When I purchased it, the car had fixed heads but was otherwise stock. Unfortunately, the rod coating issue (a known issue to LS7 engines) happened right after I purchased the car, leading me to need to rebuild the engine. Rather than just spend a few grand and keep it mostly stock, my mod list snowballed hard and I fully built this car as a N/A beast.
The car is fully built, you can see the mod list below, and currently has about 1,400 miles on the new engine. It made 623whp/547wtq on E85 and about 5whp/5wtq less on 91 octane. The car runs on flex, so anything between 91 octane and 85% ethanol fuel can be used.
The exterior of the car is in excellent condition. There are a couple small chips on the hood and a some nicks around the rear quarter panel brake ducts. There is also a small nick that has been touched up on the rear hatch from the previous owner. The car could use a paint correction because of some swirls, and if that is something that you are interested in I could have something arranged before delivery. The tires are 75%+ tread life remaining and they still pretty much hook in 2nd for the most part. The interior of the car is also in excellent condition, with only a small amount of wear on the driver bolster. The audio system has been upgraded with a headunit, speakers all around, amplifier, and JL subwoofer stealth box. Mechanically, the car is basically brand new. Clutch engages smooth, no signs of slipping. The transmission and drivetrain is other stock. The engine has no weird noises or oil consumption issues. I just did a leakdown test and oil analysis with good results. The car pulls very hard and sounds amazing.
Leak Down Test
1: 3.7% 2: 5.4%
3: 1.8% 4: 6.9%
5: 7.1% 6: 6.9%
7: 5.4% 8: 7.1%
You are getting a lot of value in the parts on this car. I built it to be reliable in the hot weather here in Arizona, but also something I could beat on and stay reliable. I also did some mods in preparation of doing some hpde and autocross.
I have the full maintenance records (very extensive) going back four years.
