I have owned this X5M for two years with zero regrets. I love that it is an SUV sized M5. The only reason for sale is that we're ordering a brand-new one. Fastidiously maintained @ local BMW dealer. It's been very reliable. Recently replaced the air shocks and some other incidentals under warranty. New brakes all around too.


Currently under non-transferable full warranty through Fidelity for peace of mind. Adult owned, no modifications except polished exhaust tips, high gloss kidney grills and invisible hitch, clean carfax, no accidents. Stored in heated garage.

These are really great trucks. My wife drives a modded white E70 and it's a blast. Only a few relatively minor common issues otherwise they are reliable. You do have to watch out for rod bearing wear on the S63 just like a lot of BMW motors...frequent high quality oil changes and analysis, let it warm up, etc. and it should be good. We are putting a slightly built motor in hers due to rod bearing failure at 100k.
