2001 996 911 turbo

Up for sale is my 2001 996tt that I’ve had for a little over 2 years. It’s been a great car for me and I feel really fortunate to have experienced a 996 turbo but I’m looking to reduce the amount of cars I have and feel like I’ve gotten enough out of this car. You’ll notice a lot of work done below along with a recent engine out to finish pinning the coolant lines. There were a handful of projects I wanted to do as part of the ownership experience. Now I’m ready to pass this on for someone else to enjoy.

Cold start and idle video showing the cold start cycle:

Acceleration video:

I have never experienced 2nd gear pop out and the PO told me he never did either.

I have receipts for nearly everything I've done, and for the turbos/clutch/flywheel/ and a few other things prior to my ownership.

Upgrades / Aftermarket parts (* for work done prior to my ownership)
K24-18G turbochargers*
997 GT-3 shifter*
Lightweight flywheel* w/ Stage 2.5 clutch
Maxspeed turbo manifolds*
Evoms intake*
Aftermarket Sub box carpeted to match*
Aftermarket head unit and amps*
Rennkit E-rams
Markski 2.5” “Quiet” exhaust w/ 200 cell catalytic converters
Markski maffless tune running 1.3 bar
Turbosmart wastegates
Silicon boost hoses
Aluminum Diverter valves
TechArt replica spoiler
997.2 GT2RS intercoolers
Bosch 750cc injectors (from Markski) with adaptor harnesses
Champion Motorsports 19” RG5 wheels
Michelin PS4S tires (spring 2021 with one replaced summer 2022 due to puncture)
997 150 Amp alternator*

Maintenance I’ve done in my ownership:
Coolant lines pinned
Replaced ignition switch
Cabin Air filter
Accessory belt
All rubber coolant hoses in engine bay replaced
New coolant tank
Water pump
Thermostat
Transmission and front differential fluid replaced
Clutch flushed/bled
Drivers side lower cushion replaced due to a broken heating element
997 coil packs
Spark plugs
Hood and deck lid struts replaced
Battery replaced (Duracell AGM)
HVAC screen replaced with new unit from 914 rubber
New wiper blades
Coolant drained/replaced
Power steering fluid replaced
Brake fluid flushed
Check valves, venturi valve, other plastic boost/vacuum valves replaced
Fuel filter replaced
New OEM Fuel Pressure Regulator (due to recent injector upgrade)

When I purchased the car the Carfax showed an accident in the right rear. I don’t know the back story of it but the rear bumper cover shows a 2003 mfg date. The aluminum rear bumper is original and the suspension parts on the right side appear original, so I don’t think there was any real impact. When I got the car PPI’d I had the shop put a paint meter on all the panels and they didn’t notice any paint thickness differences. All panels came in at a 6 or 7 (.006" and .007"?) on their meter. The only real paint defect other than regular little chips in the front bumper is a scratch on the drivers c piller that has been touched up with official Porsche Guards Red touch up paint. I will include this with sale.

Dash leather is pulled up and wrinkled. It doesn’t bother me too much but was on the list of things I’d like to do. See pictures uploaded in header.

Missing tool kit but jack included

If you’re not big into stereo stuff, there’s a large hose going into the funk for a front sub. There are also 2 amps currently installed, with a 3rd amp, sub, and mounting stand that go in the frunk that I'll include with sale. It's not my style, but it may be someone else's.

Will take payment via wire transfer at the bank or will go with the buyer to the bank to get a certified check.

PM me with any questions.

I haven't dyno'd it. I had it tuned by Markski and he adjusted the tune based on datalogs from durametric. It should be putting out something near 600hp according to people on the forums. A guy local to me with a very similar setup put out as much as 555whp.

Here's a thread on what K24s can do, my car has the 18G compressors which help the top end:
